This Tibetan wool and silk Shakti rug in red, designed by renowned designer Vicente Wolf, is a modern design based on an image of cracked earth in the desert. The wool base color of Crack Up Flame is red with a gleaming and matching red silk that makes up the cracked look in the design. This rug was handcrafted of the finest Tibetan wool and silk in Nepal using our Shakti quality weave which has a pile height of 0.28 inches and a smooth finish. This nature inspired design has proven to be a successful transitional pattern and has limited inventory available.

Our rugs are designed and photographed in the 8x10 size. If you are considering any other size, the design and/or scale will vary from this standard. Please reach out to our rug experts if you would like more information on a particular design in a specific size.
Actual Size May Vary a Little
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
