Classic Kevin Walz hand knotted Shakti weave rug. A transitional Kevin Walz design made with the finest Himalayan wool and accented with silk using our premium Shakti weav. The pattern of this contemporary rug is taken from a basket weave design and would work well in a hallway, entryway, kitchen or bedroom in a transitional, modern and even traditional home. The Rag Weave Maize rug encompasses a golden palette with pale thyme and tan colors woven into the pattern. Golden brown and moss green silk accents create the illusion of a woven pattern and provide a shimmering accent to the carpet. The Shakti weave in this design has a smooth finish and pile height around 0.28 inch.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
