Rag Weave is typically made in Napal using our Shakti Weave but this rug was made with Lama Weave using 100% wool, likely for a commercial space such as a hotel or elevator lobby. We call the rugs "lonely customs" because for some reason they did not work for the original customer or project. It's possible that the customer decided they could not live without silk, that's happened before! All wool Lama Weave works best in super high traffic public spaces and the pile height meets the under one half inch ADA requirement. For sampling, request the 2 x 2 Lama Weave strike off. The colors are the same as the production rug, only this version contains no silk.

Our rugs are designed and photographed in the 8x10 size. If you are considering any other size, the design and/or scale will vary from this standard. Please reach out to our rug experts if you would like more information on a particular design in a specific size.
Actual Size May Vary a Little
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
