A sophisticated red carpet with a dash playfulness and vibrant color. This Loribaft area rug was handcrafted in Iran and imported to the USA before the 2010 embargo. The weave of this rug is among the finest of the gabbeh weaves featuring a high knot density, low pile and quality lanolin-rich wool dyed with natural vegetable based dyes. The brilliant, rich jewel-tones provided by the natural vegetal-dyes used in their coloration, radiate warmth and comfort. The Loribaft carpets are all unique in their designs in that weavers are given a general pattern and are allowed to alter and embellish the design with their own creativity. This rug features sophisticated style that remains lighthearted with the incorporation of colorful blocks of color throughout the rich ruby red field. This rug measures 8'5" x 12'10" and is ready for immediate delivery.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
