One of our most popular and enduring Barbara Barry designs, the Tempo rug is handcrafted in the finest silk with Himalayan wool accents with a pile height approximating 0.28 inches. This oversized one of a kind area rug was hand knotted in Nepal using our Shakti weave. A custom favorite, the Tempo rug infuses any setting with subtle luxury, movement and sheen. The wool color of this Temp Apricot rug is a warm beige that accents the copper silk, resulting in a subtle contrast between the two colors and fibers. This custom sized rug measures 11'9" x 5'2".

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
