The Twilight carpet was constructed of 100% Armenian wool and handmade near Yerevan, Armenia. James Tufenkian imported this rug to the USA, inspired by the beauty of color transition initiated by the rising and setting of the sun and moon across the seasons of the year. This rug, in an ombre pattern, can join together a variety of colors in an organic way, with no definable pattern or design. This beautiful carpet has less than one half inch of pile height. Consequently, the rug can safely be introduced into nearly any type of design setting for it is a truly transitional design that will find success with interiors from the very traditional to the super-modern.

Our rugs are designed and photographed in the 8x10 size. If you are considering any other size, the design and/or scale will vary from this standard. Please reach out to our rug experts if you would like more information on a particular design in a specific size.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
