An elegant and minimalist Barbara Barry Shakti weave rug. Back to basics, Barbara Barry's Shoji rug relies on minimalist design and the finest materials and composition. The Shoji Fig rug was hand knotted in Nepal with marbled Himalayan wool and streaks of silk using our Shakti Weave. The pile height in this design is around 0.28 inches. As with all of our designs, the Shoji Fig rug is made with the highest level of social and environmental responsibility, you can rest assured that no child labor is ever used in our designs. This Shoji Fig rug is a warm taupe with copper silk accents. The minimalist quality of this rug is sophisticated and works with just about any room design. Our rugs are designed and photographed in the 8x10 size. If you are considering any other size, the design and/or scale will vary from this standard. Please reach out to our rug experts if you would like more information on a particular design in a specific size.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
