TUFENKIAN ARMENIAN HORIZON
This handcrafted Armenian Horizon rug was made in Armenia with 100% wool with a weave similar to the Iranian Gabbeh. The vibrant colors used in this design are created using all natural vegetable based dyes. The design of this Horizon rug was crafted with the individual creativity of the weavers who use their own inspirations for the design, making it a one of a kind work of art. This pattern incorporates bold striations of color which are muted by adding in a neutral orange color into each stripe of color. The edges of each color fade into each other instead of creating hard lines. The underlying colors include dark blue, mustard yellow, pale blue black and rust red. This rug measures 8’11” X 11’9”.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
