YAK-SOO #254 DEEP BROWN
One of our most sustainably produced rugs, using Himalayan wool and vegetable dyes.
This rug is made of 100% Himalayan wool and uses vegetable dyes to achieve a deep chocolate brown. Subtle organic variations in color created by the vegetable dye and unbleached Himalayan wool are reminiscent of Pointillism: From a distance the rug appears to be a single color, but on closer inspection you see that subtle variations in color across the rug help to make it a more interesting piece than if it were simply a single color across the entire rug. This rug was constructed using our Yak-Soo weave, which has the tallest pile height of all of our rugs at about an inch high, which gives the rug the rustic appearance of a shag rug.

Our rugs are designed and photographed in the 8x10 size. If you are considering any other size, the design and/or scale will vary from this standard. Please reach out to our rug experts if you would like more information on a particular design in a specific size.
Actual Size May Vary a Little
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
